Friday 4 November 2011: St. Paul's, Fazeley
I walk past the church twice a day, yet have never blipped it. I'm not religious in the slightest, but have spent many preschool Christmas productions, harvest festivals and graduation ceremonies here. I actually like the way the preschool kids scoot around the graveyard before they go in, making noise and collecting conkers - I don't feel it's disrespectful, I think it makes the place feel alive.
My neighbour and I took the dogs for an hour-and-a-half walk to Hopwas today - it was beautifully sunny, but VERY muddy. The heavens have just opened, and Matt's got training tonight. Yay, filthy kit :(
Here's a random question. Settle an argument. Best cover of a song? I upset Paul by saying Bryan Ferry's 'Jealous Guy' was better than his hero John Lennon's. I wasn't trying to wind him up, honestly, I like it. I love this too, despite not liking the original much either...
