Friday 4 November 2011: Fun?

616/365: ... gi.

No details of editing. Have decided to knock the 'before' journal on the head. Just over 100 entries in there. Glad I had a go at keeping a more 'photographic' journal... but I think I'm done with that now. There were a few lovely people commenting on it - it was just turning into a bit too much of a slog and made me feel like I was just doing the same old stuff over and over... and I wasn't really learning anything by doing it! So, all done.

At least by being all done there, I stand more of a chance of keeping this one going because it all feels a bit like it's slipping away from me at the moment. Even the opportunity to do a tiny bit of something for me is being squashed out by everything else and my creativity has deserted me. Ho hum!

Not lots to say about today. It was a working from home day which was good as I wasn't really feeling very well at all. Work involved writing up various bits and bobs... and was nice and quiet as an antidote to the busy rest of the week. It was also a relief not to have to drive in the torrential rain which came down this morning. It didn't last that long but it was pretty spectacular while it did... 'the rain's exploding from the roof!', Maddy had squealed when she saw it. Bless! The other person who was happy today was Felix after I picked him up from school and he didn't have to go into after school club. He's also suffering from being tired too, I think.

Right now, Maddy Moo is busy cooking dinner. She's chopped up some potatoes and I'm about to give her some pointers as to what comes next.

Wish us luck!

PS I knew the day would come where the kids would start to wait on us...
PPS I fear I'm being overly optimistic about how soon that might be...
PPPS ... if ever.
