This is almost the location of my yesterdays Blip.
At the right you can see how the color of the steel structure has changed: the paint has gone.
These are scaffolders making a scaffold from the floor up to this height.
There is no other way to reach the hatch but flying.
The scaffold is there for the insulation guys because they have to insulate the steel structure to protect it from the heat. When the structure is exposed to too much heat, the strength will decrease dramatically....
Tomorrow we are going to inspect the spot from the inside and then the decision is taken what to do.
Most likely is to plan a stop in a weekend not far from now so we can organise everything in a proper way.
Notice how the men are dressed: safety goggles, helmet, coverall, safety shoes and double harnasses to protect them from falling.
The man on the foreground is not hooked onto a railing because he is not on the scaffold itself.
He's on a normal concrete deck (floor).
The man in the back is hooked to a fixed part of the scaffold, the other hook is a spare one.
