Saturday 5 November 2011: A clear and cold dusk
Today was trying to be the first day with no rain since the 29th of September - in other words for more than five weeks. The morning was beautiful but ultimately it had to be marked down as a failure as there was a sharp shower around 3.00pm.
However the sky cleared again quite quickly and we walked down to John & Morag's for a cup of tea coming back up in the early gathering dusk.
These trees are behind the house whilst the hills are across the loch. They come together as silhouettes on such an evening and at such a moment.
