Chickened out of going out in the dark to get some firework shots. Stayed in and caught up with Frozen Planet on iPlayer and was immediately put to shame for not venturing out in a little bit of a chill this evening by the intrepid BBC film crews enduring months on end in ice and >130 mph winds to get their shots!

Instead had a bit of a play in Photoshop trying out (a very mild) Orton effect on this shot from STirling University grounds.
