Saturday 5 November 2011: Meeting friends

What a beautiful day today, and what a change from the normal horizontal rain and gale force winds.

We had a lovely walk along the beach, and dogs and their owners met and spent time together as if it was Summer.

I see that the snow has actually melted on the top of the hills. A friend, however, said that we are due to have snow in 2 weeks.

Yippee........
