A very different shot to yesterday's pretty scene, but I was so proud of my boy and his size 8 feet today. It was an important rugby league match. He got his place in the starting line up (an achievement in itself, given the huge, very capable squad) and helped secure a big win. Well done Matt x

He's usually a lot dirtier than this - the ground was quite cold and therefore a bit harder today. He gained a slight leg injury, but XBox time and steak pie seem to have helped ;) We all needed to thaw out though - it was a chilly morning in Burntwood. I need to buy some new thermals :(

I've a busy week coming up - including a trip to the zoo with Anna's Yr 3 class on Tuesday (what possessed me to volunteer?!) We're off to the Lake District next weekend though, so it's just a case of hanging in there for a few more days...
