Sunday 6 November 2011: Die Kraniche (Cranes)
Out at the City Of Bears today and out for a walk. We saw literally thousands of Cranes heading off and since I blipped them going the other way back in early spring, I felt they had to be today's Blip. Hugely impressive formations in the sky - well, they are to me.
While we were out we decided to harvest some apples from trees. This involved me doing the shaking of trees and then us all harvesting what we saw falling. All good fun and something I've never done before. My favourite bit though, was just after shaking one tree. I stood up from picking up an apple and was hit square on the top of the head by a falling apple. Very cartoonish. And I wasn't inspired to write a Physics paper either.
