Saturday 5 November 2011: Village Bonfire
Built on the Village fields over the last couple of weeks a huge bonfire took place, this year with fireworks sponsored by the corrupt building company that are to develop the field at the rear of our house. The £105,000 sweetener money given to the Parish Council to improve the village went up in smoke before our very eyes !
I didn't go. I stayed home, cooked a very hot chilli, jacket potatoes, hot dogs and drank wine. Plenty of it.
