Monday 7 November 2011: Art and commerce
After an early morning writing copy for my Marrakech piece in the Sunday Times I went into town for some inspiration.
Bond Street is a favourite haunt because of its advertising and varied pedestrians.
Today the covered pavement reminded me of the Souk and the piece of street art, a little of Banksy (but only a little).
I had to laugh when I looked in the gallery window. The same figure of Albert Einsein was there too, only incorporated into a painting and for sale.
The name of the artist... Mr Brainwash.
