Tuesday 8 November 2011: Tin Pot Trophy
Another paint-related day and Blip.
Just got back (22:45) from Bramall Lane where I watched the Blades lose on penalties to Bradford City in the Tin Pot Trophy. Would liked to have seen them go a lot further, certainly should be able to! It's bad enough we're in League 1, but to lose to a League 2 team....at home!!!! Poor.
The painting in class of the Warhol soup cans is coming along nicely. Mixed results as expected, but the display will look good. After a shock of one my kids fainting and landing on his face in a lesson (not good) and an extended lunch duty sorting squabbles out, I eventually got my lunch at 15:25. Then parent's evening started at 15:30.
Got home, gulped down tea and then drive to Sheffield to watch said match.
SO.......I have hopefully built up to a big enough and passable apology for not having the time to comment for the last 24-48 hours. Been hectic. Another parent's evening tomorrow and then normal service should resume. Sorry.
Not even had time to view your blips ;-( Not good for the obsessed OCD blipper!!!!!
(and I still need to paint some woodwork in the needs-to-be-decorated hallway, hence the shot)
