Bertha

She is a potter from the neighborhood and comes in most everyday to work in the pottery studio. Her work is creative but her stories are even better, and not in a good way. Bertha has had a very tough life but is now in a pretty good place. She's incredibly funny, salty, and outspoken, and recently gifted me with one of her creations.

When she saw the small photo collection I'm gathering on my office wall, she agreed to let me take her picture...after she talked to me for about an hour :-)
