Wednesday 9 November 2011: The Honing

I'll be brief as it's late. Either that or delay it and post a finely honed piece tomorrow. Come to think of it, I'm meeting young blipping scallywags tomorrow, so the finely honed piece may have to wait until Friday. Of course, that's what I'm good at (I just remembered!). Sizing things up, quickly considering all the key factors and on that basis, making a decision. So here it is. Of course, one may argue that in the time I've taken to outline my reasoning process I could have honed a fine piece.
I do wonder what else is honed apart from a piece of fine writing. I doubt one hones a spaghetti bolognese, for example, or one's shirt collar. So, to the point, here's the forecast for the morning. Rain still affecting the easternmost parts of the country and surprisingly mild for this time of year. Sweet dreams!
