Thursday 10 November 2011: Retro grim...

622/365: ... it's all the rage, darling.

If I weren't so stupidly stubborn, on days like this I would skip a day. It's not like things were peachy photographically-speaking. First, this is a rubbish shot taken through my car window. Second, I didn't take my proper camera out at lunchtime. Third, I took my point and shoot... and then the battery died. And finally, when I went to take a photo with my grown-up camera later on, I lifted it to my face and some how managed to flick myself in the eye with the neck strap.

Flippin' bloomin' grrrrrr!

Anyway, I'm neatly adding this to my 'general rants' list along with revolving doors.

Revolving doors are evil. There's no good way of getting through them. Take the one at work. It's heavy and the gap entices people into thinking that two people can go into one section. And then when they do, they have to do that awkward trying-not-to-invade-your-personal-space-but-seriously-am shuffle as they realise it wasn't big enough after all. Also, the temptation to give it a really hard shove and send everyone flying as you're leaving - well... that's huge. But generally, the door is seriously heavy, no fun, and requires queueing to wait for a gap and walking as though you pooed yourself in teensy tiny steps to get through.

Cameras and doors are on my list of loathing.

Wonder what else will make it onto the list by the end of the day?

Not Felix. He's being very sweet and singing 'Have you seen the muffin man' over and over again. He says they played a game at school today where someone had to be the muffin man (no, I don't know why either) and that he had to pick someone to be the muffin man... but he wouldn't do it because the only person he wanted to choose was his little friend. And since a) he doesn't like the muffin man b) likes his friend and c) thought he'd have to hate her when she became the muffin man d) wouldn't choose anyone at all.

Love the logic! There is some kind of logic in there... right!?
