Friday 11 November 2011: Lest we forget...
Another year passes and more names are added to the ever growing list of friends and colleagues who I had the honour of serving with. During this period many people who know me ask why i never wear a poppy and the answer is rather simple to be honest. My Poppy is my heart and my memories will always come from within and i don't need a poppy as a symbol for me to remember. I have a few tattoos of my Regimental Cap Badge, thats my real Poppy that is with me 365 days a year.
May all those who have fallen before me RIP. My true brothers who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
It was 2 years ago I was home last to Remember them
Last year I was away as well and make no apologies for using pretty much the same picture as im away again this year I've tried to give this a fuzzy blurred edge as its how I feel today thats all. I hate missing Remembrance Sundays and this year is even more special with it being 11/11/11. I sat here in silence and shed a few tears instead wishing I was home

Airborne Forces Prayer
May the defence of the most high be above and beneath, around and within us, in our going out and in our coming in, in our rising up and in our coming down, all our days and all our nights, until the dawn when the sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings for the people of the world, through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen
The Special Forces Prayer
Almighty God, Who art
the Author of Liberty and
the Champion of the oppressed,
hear our prayer.
We, the men of Special Forces,
acknowledge our dependence
upon Thee in the preservation of human freedom.
Go with us as we seek to defend the defenseless
and to free the enslaved.
May we ever remember that our nation,
whose oath is ?In God We Trust,?
expects that we shall acquit ourselves with honor,
that we may never bring shame upon our faith,
our families, or our fellow men.
Grant us wisdom from Thy mind,
courage from Thine heart,
strength from Thine arm,
and protection from Thine hand.
It is for Thee belongs the victor?s crown.
For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power and glory forever,
AMEN!
Utrinque Paratus - Ready for Anything
Ad Unum Omnes - All to one purpose
Qui audet adipiscitur - Who dares Wins
Every Man an Emperor...
May we all regroup in hell one day and kick up shit lads. See you all soon...
