Saturday 12 November 2011: Lake Windermere
A great day. A three hour drive, then we checked into our Premier Travel Inn in Kendal - posh, I know! - and went to Lake Windermere for the afternoon.
Paul's always wanted a boat. My aunt and uncle live on catamaran in Sardinia, and visiting them only made the boat-urge stronger. He's even dragged us to the NEC boat show before now. So today was perfect for him.
Coniston Water and Ambleside tomorrow, maybe. Dinner and a good night's sleep first though!
