Saturday 12 November 2011: Gazania seeds
A gentle breeze helps to scatter these seeds and it is quite willing to germinate and grow wherever it finds a suitable place.
For years we have had gazanias growing between paving stones - quite a harsh place when the temperatures soar to the mid thirties.
So, when the new plant is strong enough, we remove it gently and plant it elsewhere where the environment is more friendly.
