Duck!

"Are they not geese?"

"Aye, but there's a bucket load of goose crap coming your way, so... DUCK!"

That's why Samantha's standing there with her hood up. Impressive sight it was though, and an equally impressive noise too as the skies above us filled with hundreds of birds. You can count them if you like

Day started with a bit of a unique visit from a fellow blipper wanting to know if I was coming out to play. It's been a long while since that's happened and unfortunately, due to my bike being laid up with a flat, I wasn't able to take him up on his offer. Next time for sure Andy.

Also a pretty unique Sunday walk today in that every member of the Delph Wynd Daily household tagged along. No arms needed twisting either, everyone trotted merrily along without any protest. After chasing sheep and spooking hares (Euan), splashing in puddles (Heather) and avoiding the carpet bombing of goose crap (all of us) during a walk around the abandoned munitions warehouses (second Sunday in a row for me, still not actually posted a photo of what I was intending to shoot yet) we then headed along to Dunmore for a flying visit to the Pineapple as Samantha had only ever seen photos of it.

Even though the sun had disappeared by the time we headed out it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon out together, finished off with a traditional Sunday lunch courtesy of Ronald McDonald.
