Thursday 12 June 2008: Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Today we were in Klaipeda, Lithuania. My first time here and we did the tourist thing, and went on little tour of the city. Looked promising but was a little disappointing. Not that much to see and do in the city. There were a few things we wanted to do outside of Klaipeda, but we simply didn't have the time for it. Went for some Chinese, some local beer and then back to the ship.

This is a shot of a market seller in the little Amber Market in the town square, just in front of the theater, which has a balcony, where a certain Adolf Hitler made a speech to the masses in 1939.
