Monday 14 November 2011: What are you DOING?!?!?!?!

626/365: ... 'tidying'.

This is probably the most untidying tidying you're ever likely to see. When I got home from work, I could see the light coming through the air bricks just by the front steps as I pulled into the driveway... and that meant one thing. The basement was in use. As I came in, the basement very definitely was in use. And when I yelled down 'hello you two!', Felix replied 'don't come down, we're in the middle of a game'. Which always sets alarm bells ringing because their games are notoriously messy.

When I went downstairs a few minutes later (armed with camera, naturally!), there they were, emptying boxes at a rate of knots, paper flying everywhere, Maddy in a state of semi-nudity... Felix in shouty enthusiasm mode. And it was chaos. When Nick told them to tidy it up, Maddy replied 'we're already tidying'.

Yeah... right... not feeling that one, 100%...

Other stuff today has involved me coughing. A lot. So much so that someone from from two offices, a corridor, a partition and an open plan office away... bought me some cough sweets. She was very very sweet about it - and it was really thoughtful of her.

But by then, I was irritating myself enough that I decided to take myself home. Had I stayed for those last 15 minutes I'm sure I'd have driven everyone else into a frenzy of 'FOR GOODNESS SAKE, SHUT UP!'-ness about all my flippin' coughing!

PS It's barely been three weeks since my last chesty coughy cold thing.
PPS Surely it's someone else's turn for the lurgy now?
