Scanning a lifetime

My father's slide collection.

To scan 4 slides with a reasonable resolution takes 23 minutes.
The first 2 boxes contain over 2,000 slides. I dread to think how many more boxes he has. I have at least 2 of my own after his to do.
I hope the scanner has a good life expectancy. It may last longer than me, if recent form is anything to go by!

Bit better today, but have cancelled the trip to the Glen with Ally and my Parents. We might manage 1 day away to see the boys instead. So much for our weeks holiday. I need rest and a wee bit of relaxation.
