Martin Simpson

Headed into town tonight to see the fantastic Martin Simpson at the folk club at the Pleasance. A big thank you to Dave for grabbing me the ticket. What amazing value as well, £10 for three hours of entertainment (and a raffle, apparently it's not a folk club if they don't have a raffle).

There was a guy from the Clyde valley supporting him who did three songs before the interval (raffle) and two after. MArtin Simpson played about two hours in all and what a fantastic two hours. The man knows his way round a guitar, that's for sure.

If you're not familiar with him (or if you are) this was his opening number tonight.
