Human nature

It's too easy to paint with broad brushstrokes.

It is no less harmful to adopt the attitude that all bankers are wankrs (sic) purely because of their career choice, than it is to say that greed is human nature.

Both are rooted in absolutisms, and there be monsters.

While the former is prejudiced and divisive, the latter absolves us all of responsibility for our actions, and their consequences.

Instead we need to agree some basics. For instance, all people deserve a decent life, free of stress, abuse and persecution, and without the expectation that other people must pick up the pieces left by our actions.

Too much to ask?
