Portraits pour un siècle, Gallimard

My friend K won tickets to see this show at the Bibliothèque historique de la ville de Paris and *very* kindly invited me along. We really enjoyed both the portraits and the archival documents on display. Seeing the comité de lecture reading notes was very interesting. This stunning portrait of Simone de Beauvoir was the only one in colour in the exhibition.

We had a delicious falafel lunch at Pitzman on rue pavée beforehand. It's a spot I'd recommend and will take the kids to.

Ch had a friend over after school today. She is a very sweet girl in her grade who lives nearby and who will now spend most Thursdays after school with us.
