I've been listening to Dutch radio all week - due to my 2 regular US stations are bombarding me with 1. Christmas music (aaaaaaaall day long) and 2. Commercials for a. guns to go hunting b. cars to pack your guns in to go hunting and c. tips to persuade your kids to get into the car so they can go hunting with you and the guns.
Internet radio it is.
I love listening to Radio 2. The music is nice, the news is impartial and international - and it doesn't make me as mad as what I hear on American radio. But ... and especially in this season - it makes me very homesick.
tIs always a struggle.
Sometimes I really think I'm too old to adjust and adept as I think I should. Not weedy enough.
