Rummaging through "the cupboard of neglected things" I came across a bag containing my old school scarf and blazer badge.

Honestly, Mum, how many people do you think there were in my school - with my combination of forename and surname - to warrant the handwritten clarification?

Later: I've now found my school tie but that's not been amended. Odd
