Friday 18 November 2011: Farewell
This is Martin. Next Friday he leaves our office to go and start a new job in Zurich so we went out for lunch. Next Friday there will be beer. Copious quantities if Martin's track record is anything to go by. He is the subject of a few office night out legends.
This isn't the first time he's left. He has had to return leaving gifts before - including a very nice single malt.
He says this time it's for good.
We give it six months.
He's 6 foot 4 at least and from the Czech Republic. There was a joke staring at us when the bill came. We resisted.
