Saturday 19 November 2011: Dinner on the beach
Makuzi was dead, no one there but ourselves. Lack of forex, fuel, meat, beer and tourists are conspiring to make life almost impossible for business people in general and lodges in particular.
Malawi could be a thriving tourist destination if there was anyone to promote it, but like so much here, I worry about the future.
There was a lovely cool breeze coming from the lake, no electricity, but the guys coped admirably.
