Sunday 20 November 2011: Sled Dogs
MrsCyclops received a voucher for an experience with Sled Dogs for Christmas last year which she took today! The venue was the Cairngorm Sled Dog Centre near Aviemore, where they have nearly 40 dogs.
The dogs are in training for racing in Europe later in the winter. Although the racing sleds are extremely light weight, the dogs train by towing much heavier loads like this four seater off-road quad - in fact the handler uses engine braking to help hold back the dogs!
If you go large you might even be able to see MrsCyclops in the front passenger seat!
