Tuesday 22 November 2011: Can you guess what it is ?
A day of firsts for me;
After a bit of chat with Shandonner about paneer I decided to try it for myself.
I can happily report it doesn't have the taste or texture I had mistaken believed it would.
I had looked at a few recipes and printed some off - but as still a bit cotton-woolly headed after yesterday's ills left them at work - DOH!
So it was a bit of a 'make it up as you go along' curry - delicious!
(but I bet I can't make it exactly the same again ;-0)
The other first?

fresh turmeric!
I have never used it before - but will certaily be using it more often :-P
