Wednesday 23 November 2011: First Thing...

...in the morning.

I took Anna to school early today, as I had arranged to take a photograph of schoolkids holding the banner advertising the PTA Christmas Fayre. I'll email it into to local paper later today.

While I was there I took this, which I've wanted to blip for ages. It hangs in the school hall, and as you can see, it was painted back in 2008. Matthew sprayed the blue banner at the bottom, so whenever I'm at Millfield events for Anna, I see something that he had a part in, even though he's well into high school now.

A fellow blipper did a very, very nice thing for me yesterday, involving that little membership symbol, but chose to remain anonymous (which is why I did consider not mentioning it here.) I'm a stickler for manners, however, and really wouldn't have felt right not saying thank you. I have my suspicions, but am not absolutely sure who made such a kind gesture. So - it was very much appreciated, I was extremely touched, (not to mention surprised!) and will put it to very good use.
