This is Not a Ghost Sign

I was feeling pleased that I'd spotted another Bradford ghost sign to add to a growing collection.

Then I went to look up the company name, to see if I could find anything about their history and when they'd occupied the building.

That's when I found they are still there, still in business and supplying craft knitters around the world.

The wool trade that built this city lives on, in small, handknitted pockets.
