Thursday 24 November 2011: Fern fetish revisited
Took a day off work to sort out some workshop notes, music and packing for the weekend. Am over in North Lincolnshire teaching and performing this weekend, seems like I've been on a bit of a roll since returning from the desert.
Escaped from my pc to take the dogs down to Brocks, very quiet there today and real Autumn weather, windy with the occasional shot of sunlight and big fluffy rain clouds.
Visited my favourite fernery to see the wonderful rusty ferns curling and twisting as they age. I love the richness of colour they have at this time of year and the sculptural shapes they make in a somewhat flattened landscape.
