Black Friday

Been watching this one for a while on my lunchtime drives out of Stirling on a Friday. For about a mile heading along this road the Castle sits squarely in the middle of the road as I watch it disappear in the rear view mirror. Today, despite it being deepest, darkest and dampest winter for most of the morning, the sun popped out for a few minutes as I parked up and wandered back along the road a bit in the biting wind to snap this view. Fingers had that first real numbing feeling of the year and I was pretty well soaked by the time I got back to the car as a result of that cloud dispensing its payload over the mad guy with the camera that kept jumping into the middle of the road between the traffic. Definitely felt like being somewhere else after that.

If it wasn't for that big pylon you'd see all of today's fresh snow on Ben Ledi above Callander a bit better too.

That'll be our winter here then.

PS: Stirling Council: you need to send someone down to B&Q to buy a spirit level. Not one of those signs is straight.
