Never dropped a camera

Was a claim I could make, .... yesterday.
Did I mention a new lens I would be testing , do you recall me saying anything about giving it the drop test. ..?.
Did a proper job , no messing about with a little fumble on the grass or a mattress or anything like that. Flung across the tarmac about 5 metres it was. Battery drive has a wee scrape mark but all fine, camera has a slight rattle , but all fine, the lens protect filter did just that, it took the brunt. The lens is working, focus is good, but the zoom ring is somewhat graunchy, something's out of alignment. Most important, I was able to carry on photographing yachts.
