Monday 28 November 2011: Ouch.

I don't think three days out in the cold have done me good. After a dreadful night's sleep I woke up sniffling with a horribly sore throat, a temperature and aching limbs. Yuck.

I got the kids off to school and went for a walk with my camera for an hour, thinking I could blast away the germ that's set up camp in my head. Well, that didn't work, so I've put my pyjamas back on, heated up some tomato soup and stolen the fleecy blanket from Anna 's bed. This afternoon will be spent on the sofa with the Stephen Merchant DVD I bought last week. Matthew wants to watch it too, so I'll use 'checking it's suitability for a nearly 13 year old' as an excuse to be lazy until school hometime. (Update - it's most certainly not suitable!)

I walked a long way for a blip this morning, but saw this right on our doorstep - it's just how my throat feels right now!!!
