leafiness

nice bright day today, and i'm not at work til 4pm so i might get some more seeds planted. from the first lot, the radishes and spring onions are doing ok, the carrots haven't decided to show their faces (leaves) yet, and the pak choi got slugged within a day of poking up a leaf. then again, if they only eat the pak choi, i can cope. fingers crossed they (and the birds, and indeed the neighbours) don't spot the strawberries my parents brought when they were up! they also brought me a courgette plant which is looking v promising. i really need a little garden of my own...

(the pic shows none of these, it's the laurel further up the garden, but it was shiny in the sunlight and pretty. my pots of veg will feature at some point, never fear!)
