Tuesday 29 November 2011: Mouse Ears

Does this look like sorting out the dressing up box to you?!

I told Anna to throw out the stuff that didn't fit, in order to make space for stuff she MIGHT get from Santa. Instead, she's tried on almost everything and destroyed her room in the process. This is a hat she bought in Florida in 2008.

At least I got a (fuzzy) blip out of her. I've been in all day - still feels like I'm swallowing razors, and my temperature is making things interesting :(

I've done a few sewing jobs. I'm REALLY bad at sewing. Two swimming badges on a towel, done. Repositioning the Staffordshire Knot on a Brownies hoodie - aaaargh! I'd sewn it on upside down, and this was patronisingly pointed out by Brown Owl. Cringe. The knot is on Matt's rugby kit, so I really should have noticed. As for the seam on a brand new pair of Next pyjama trousers - gaaaaah! I always snip out labels - I hate them - and had accidently massacred the side hem when I did this. It's all going to my mum next time.
