Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

A bit of local birding at Northaw Great Wood, primarily for Marsh tits, but with the possibility of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and Woodcock, neither of which I've seen before. So was well chuffed when high in an oak tree I spotted a woodpecker moving around and identified it as a Lesser Spotted, unfortunately though RCB wasn't terribly chuffed when he failed to find it in his lens even though he did find a Lesser Redpoll in the same tree.

Today's photo is therefore unfortunately not a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, but a scene from Northaw Great Wood in which, I suppose, there could be hiding high up in one of these oak trees a.......
