Thursday 1 December 2011: View from the Parliament

Not a view of the Parliament but a view from the building - and an unusual one. It is from an office on the Press floor - that of Colin MacKay , the Political Editor of radio company Bauer Media. I happened to be there this afternoon and realised that few would have seen it.

It shows the tower of the Queen's Gallery with Holyrood Palace in the background.
