Sunday 4 December 2011: Kaaimans River Pass
One of the most scenic places along the Garden Route, this rail line had to close due to structural damage after heavy flooding and landslides late in 2006.
Many attempts have been made to re-open the line, but a lack of finances has been quoted as the main reason for not being able to restore this wonderful tourist attraction to its former glory.
This beautiful spot is about 10 kilometres from where I live .
