Sunday 4 December 2011: Advent calendar completed ..
.. well, almost. It's been a project in the making for too many years. I promised myself it would be finished this year but my arthritic fingers won't work too quickly and cross stitch is so fiddly. My eyesight is also such that I need natural bright light to be able to see the tiny holes in the fabric. Don't look too closely - there are many straggly bits of thread hanging and I have to confess that the green fabric is stuck to the cardboard with sellotape - needs must. It's also a bit wonky. I can always finish it properly next year - maybe.
It's cold and damp out there and we got soaked on our brief foray to the beach this morning. Lasagne and soda bread are waiting to be made - so I will catch up later.
