Sunday 4 December 2011: Perching
Not quite yesterday's bird, but when you actually stop and get close to starlings their plumage is every bit as dramatic as a kingfisher.
The Tesco supermarket was full of starlings today, probably in excess of 1000 on the various trees and bushes. Hopefully they'll be a forerunner of the other famous supermarket bird.
