Sunday 4 December 2011: Southbound
A beautiful (if a tad chlly) day up in Aberdeen, we went for a walk along the river Dee by Drumoak, I tried some handheld slow shutter speed shots of a waterfall but i guess the shivering did not help the sharpness, then a Red Kite glided past perfectly lit in the setting sun but I had the wide angle lens on and all the settings were still for the Waterfall, by the time I sorted that out the Kite had flown off into the sunset! Then on our way back to the car we heard the honking of the geese coming from behind the trees to our left, by the time they cleared the trees and before they dropped behind the trees on the other bank I had time for 3 shots, this being the only one with Moon and Geese sharp.
