Hot Stuff

Truth be told, that wasn't too bad at all - the first 500 yards to get out of the estate and on to the main road was the worst - and the journey in to work this morning was probably easier than most other days. Snowstorm in a teacup.

I'm sure the the 'Hot Stuff' Cafe and Takeaway contained deep within the bowels of this architecturally appealing building must've been doing a roaring trade, just didn't see anyone go in or come out. There's something a bit odd about a cafe that has no windows, no menu and only a single perplexing sign stating 'Food Served Everyday' to tempt you in. Not sure I'm in too much a hurry to pop inside for a foie gras baguette. In fact, there wasn't much sign of life around about here at all at lunch time - seems I was the only one daft enough to go for a slippy-and-slidy wander in the bitter cold. Just me and the doos doin' the doo.
