Still Standing

There are a number of houses such as this still standing around the Copacabana block, amidst the high apartment blocks that now dominate once elegant, residential avenues. Looking at early last century photos of Rio and Sao Paulo leaves your jaw well and truly dropped; Metropolis for real!
