Dark December Morning

This morning the lake looked more normal for this time of year, wreathed in gray clouds. I used some filters to intensify the drama. Check this out in large.

The rest of the day was very busy. We went to the Bellingham Music Club this morning and heard our singing friends in the Adoramus Carolers sing Christmas carols. As usual they were terrific. Then we joined our friends from the club at Mykanos for a delicious lunch. (Dinner really as we are just going to graze this evening.) Then we went to get our driving licenses renewed. That, of course, took over an hour, most of which we spent sitting and waiting. We finished off our day stopping at the Allied Arts Christmas market. We bought a beautiful crow plate by an artist friend of ours, Irene Lawson. I got some earrings too. It was after 4 pm when we finally got home. I was glad that I'd taken a few photos of the lake this morning so I had a blip photo in hand at the end of the day.
