Winter weather

OK no snow but in this picture you can see -
Blue sky
Clouds bearing showers
Ice - a thin layer on top of the pond
Water - an even thinner layer on top of the ice
Wind - blowing water and bits of debris over the ice. It would be more dramatic if this was video, and you could hear the roaring in the trees.
It's quite sheltered down there and the wind isn't as extreme here as it is in many other places (yet), otherwise I wouldn't dare go down there among the trees. I just had a quick walk round to blow away the cobwebs after a meeting in town (trouble is I think it's blown my brain out too).
More tranquil times at the same place - June 2007 - definitely worth looking at the contrast.
