Mourning with mud!

this year i decided to have a photography trip to Bijar at Ashura with a couple of friends. they have this tradition of mourning with the mud. i'd seen some pictures before and i really wanted to go over there and see it for myself and take pictures myself. i took nearly 800 pictures that day and if i hadn't forgot my other memory card i'd have taken more.

i was actually so busy taking pictures that day i didn't get to ask any questions about this traditions and i don't have any thoughts to share.

there were so many photographers there from all over the country and we were all in mud, our cloths, cameras!

i have n't yet got around to pick and edit all the good shots and there were better shots than this one but they still need sometime in the darkroom and i kinda liked this and wanted to share with you.
