Push-me Pull-you
Languages often throw up little mapping exercises that no matter how practiced you become always require a moment of mental processing and hesitation before reaching full understanding and executing the task. An example is the sign on the door above. Empurre means 'push' in Portuguese, while on the opposite side it says puxe (pronounced 'pushy') and meaning 'pull'! You see what I mean!
Anyway, this is an antique shop in our local shopping centre preparing its next window display behind a screen of newspapers.
